Drawings
I’ve been drawing portraits since high school, though I didn’t even realize I could until my sophomore year. In my art class, our teacher assigned us to recreate a black-and-white image from a magazine as accurately as possible. From there, she gave me the freedom to draw whatever I wanted. That’s when I discovered how much I loved drawing people—the expressions, the details, the challenge of capturing a likeness.
